Scary Movie 4 - 5/10 I'm kind of indifferent to this one for the most part, because the parts that make me laugh, really make me laugh, but I feel like those times are way too few and far between for a film which is constantly attempting to make me laugh. The film sees Cindy meet the ghost of a boy while working as a caretaker doe an old woman. She also falls in love with the neighbour, Tom. When giant tripods invade the Earth, Cindy leaves to find some answers. Yeah I don't really have much else to say other than what I've already said. When I laughed, I really laughed, but i just feel I didn't really laugh enough. It also felt like the longest of the Scary Movie films so far to me, and since it's another that's actually got a really short runtime, that's really quite bad. Something I think I appreciate much more in this one compared to the others is the performances; don't get me wrong, they're still awful, but they work in a way. Thinking on it, it's the same for all of the Scary Movie films, because the poor performances often lead to some of the funniest moments, because you just can't help but laugh at how bad it is. Overall, this is gonna be another short review from me evidently, but there just isn't anything more to say on this film. If you've watched the others then I guess you might as well see this one too, but it's not a film I'd go out of my way to recommend.
